The largest UK Internet Exchange experienced a brief outage caused by a configuration change by the LINX team. This has resulted in routing issues between many UK networks and has affected off-net connections to the VoiceHost voice platforms. VoiceHost broadband and ethernet customers would have experienced issues accessing large networks such as Google, Microsoft etc.
We believe there are still issues with LINX LON1 and have therefore shutdown our sessions with other networks on the exchange until stability has been restored. This has caused traffic to flow via other internet exchanges such as LONAP, LINX Manchester and via Transit providers.
